Do you know the " ARISI MALE " beach that near to our campus?. Main town is pulmudei. "Arisi" means in tamil "rice". The reason is it called as, Arisi beach sand look like rice.

Another one is "kanniya" hot water springs. It is very close to Trincomalee. It recalling me how powerful the nature.( references-There are seven wells in a square shape. Wells are only 3–4 feet deep and you can clearly see the bottom. The temperature is considerably high but vary slightly from one spring to another.[1] Wells run out of water, when 10-15 buckets of water are taken out.)


The, "vamadilla" tank is a project of "Mahawali Authority". It established in valamitiyawa near by matale.This tank feeds many paddy fields, also North western province.

The " Nelligala" is very famous tourist place in kandy.It is an concept of Dhammarathana Thero.This place consists of a 75 feet high pagoda and a large Dharamshala where the relics of Lord Buddha and Maharahats are enshrined.

This is the pagoda.



I think this is "Mythree bodhisattva ". The next lord buddha. It is s Very beautiful statue. It gives pure feelings.


Attractive statues arrangement and creative concept. It purifies the my mind.

  Bambawa raja maha viharaya   The legends of the Bambawa Purana Raja maha Viharaya goes back to to time of King Wattagamini Abhaya better known as king Walagamba. The king came to power in 104 BC but invaders from South India captured the capital within the same year. Then for 15 years the king lived in hiding in jungle caves amassing and training a force to attack the invaders. The cave at Bambawa was one of such caves which was used by the king during his exile. When he was living in the cave in Bamba, a native “Vedda” hunter called Sitha had come to the king and informed him that there was another cave nearby much larger and suitable for a king. The king visited this cave and seeing it a much larger cave with better protection, had moved to this new cave, and the vedda had been generously rewarded.
